• Soil: humus-rich, moisture retentive soil
• Rate of growth: average
• Hardiness: tender
  
  Grow your own fresh chickpeas for homemade humous and other recipes. Prinicipe of Florence is a dwarf plant that grows to a height of 40-60cm tall. Each pod can contain 2-3 chickpeas.
  
  
• Growing Instructions:Sow outside - March to May when the air temperature is above 5°C
  Sow 3 cm deep in a sunny position for best results
  Thin plants to 12cm apart
  Allow the plants and pods to dry completely before harvesting.
  
  Harvest: July to Oct
