- Rate of growth: average
- Flowering period: May to June

A matt forming perennial with dark green leaves. In early summer small, light blue (or occasionally darker) flowers appear on erect spikes that emerge from amongst the foliage and gradually get taller as the season progresses. This variety has slightly larger flowers and is a more robust plant than the parent plant. Plant in a sunny site with fertile, moist, well-drained soil for best results. Team it up with Geum Fire Opal for spectacular results.
- Garden care: Remove faded flower-stems in autumn. Apply a generous 5-7cm mulch of well-rotted garden compost or manure around the base of the plant in spring.
