Japanese Sedge

A small, evergreen, ornamental grass that forms low hummocks of striking dark green leaves with a central strip of creamy yellow. In mid to late spring it bears brown flowerspikes on long stems. It looks good planted with other ornamental grasses with contrasting foliage.
- Garden care: Comb through the plant in winter with your fingers to remove dead foliage and snip out any leaves in summer.
